Axel Fonteyne is a Brazilian copywriter currently based in Berlin.
He's worked for ad agencies in multiple countries, accumulating an international repertory of references, experiences, and different pronunciations of his name.
Axel believes that stories should always be the centerpiece of his work. Whether it's a project for a century-old brand, a social media account, or a personal one; there should always be a narrative that stands on its own and captivates the audience.
Outside of advertising, he continues to be a creative. His free time is spent drawing and writing cartoons, scriptwriting, and reviewing movies.
He also likes to mention his constant suffering caused by an irrational passion for his hometown football club, Ponte Preta. They're a 129-year-old team that has yet to lift a single relevant trophy. It's not a joke, but Axel wishes it was.
